Terms & Conditions

1. Becoming a maker
Every application is reviewed by our team before it can receive orders. Approval depends on your portfolio, category fit, and ability to meet our fulfilment standards. We may decline or suspend an account at our discretion, with reasons given on request.
2. Selling, order routing & acceptance
You choose the store products you want to make by requesting them; each request is approved by our team. For an approved product you set your own price within the limit shown in your portal, or sell at the store price. A buyer may choose a maker, in which case the order goes to that maker; otherwise orders route automatically among eligible makers, by fastest delivery or best price. You have a limited window to accept or decline an offer, counted only during the hours shown in your portal, before it moves to the next maker. Accepting an order commits you to producing and handing it over within the dispatch time shown in your portal, plus any extra handling days you listed on the product. An accepted order that is still not shipped after the number of days shown in your portal is cancelled for you and offered to another maker, and counts as a missed offer on your scorecard; orders for products with extra handling days are not cancelled this way.
Shipping credit and late fee. The courier charge for an order shipped through the platform is booked by EverycultureLabs and deducted from your payout. No shipping fee paid by a buyer is added to your payout; allow for shipping in your prices. Scheduling the courier pickup early earns a shipping credit against the courier charge: a pickup on the first day after you accept the order earns a larger one, the second day a smaller one. The credit is a percentage of the value of the whole order, in slices as shown in your portal (the higher the order value, the lower the percentage on each further slice), so it does not depend on the courier or on air or surface, and it is never more than a set share of the courier charge shown in your portal, so you always pay part of it. A pickup from the third day on adds a flat late fee to the courier charge, except on orders for products you listed with extra handling days, which carry no late fee. The amounts are shown on the schedule screen before you confirm, and are fixed by the pickup date you choose when you schedule: once you confirm, the amount is final, whenever the courier arrives. A booked pickup that is not yet due may be moved a limited number of times; the credit or late fee is then worked out again for the new date.
3. Commission, taxes & payouts
EverycultureLabs charges a commission on each sale, as a percentage of the selling price in the bands shown in your portal, with a minimum per item. GST is charged on our fees and we issue a tax invoice for it. Where the law requires, tax is collected at source (TCS) and deducted at source (TDS) and shown on your payout statement. As a limited-time launch promotion, the commission is reduced to 0% on all orders, across all categories and price ranges, through 31 July 2027, after which the standard commission applies.
After delivery is confirmed by the buyer, or automatically after the period shown in your portal, your payout is scheduled and held for the number of days set for your tier (shown in your portal). Orders that have passed their hold are added up and paid in one weekly payment to your bank account; each payment has a statement and a bank reference. A payment is made only once your PAN and bank account have been saved and verified by our team. If a buyer's problem is upheld against you, the refund is charged to you and the commission, GST, TCS and TDS on that sale are reversed in proportion. If the order was already paid to you, the amount is deducted from your next payment, and if it is more than that payment the balance is carried forward to the following one.
4. Quality & tiers
Your tier is based on your scorecard over the last 90 days: order defect rate, late dispatch rate, valid tracking rate, offers left to expire, and refund rate, with the targets shown in your portal. Falling below the threshold for your tier for a sustained period may result in a lower tier or reduced category access.
5. Buyer information
You may use a buyer's street address and phone number only to make and ship their order. They are shown to you while the order is being made and shipped, and for one week after delivery; after that you can still see the customer's name and the city, state and pincode each order was sent to, and the list of orders you have sent that customer, but not the street address or phone number. Do not keep, copy or use buyer information for anything else, and do not contact buyers outside the order.
6. Shipping obligations
Once an order is shipped, a valid courier and working tracking number must be on it. If you ship an order with your own courier instead of booking one through the platform, you enter the courier's name and the tracking number on the order; no courier charge is deducted, the ship-early credit and the late fee do not apply, the dispatch deadline runs until you add the tracking number, delivery is confirmed automatically after a longer period, and a refund for a parcel that does not arrive is charged to you. You're responsible for packaging items to survive transit.
